The 5th Eco Expo Asia ended successfully on 6 November 2010 at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong. With the theme "Business Solutions to Climate Change", the 4-day event recorded:

The fair was opened by the Secretary for the Environment of the Government of the HKSAR, the Honourable Edward Yau, JP. Attributing the international development of Eco Expo Asia to the territory's green trading abilities, Mr Yau said: "A remarkable highlight of this year's event is the sheer number of overseas exhibitors. Clearly this is a reflection of Hong Kong's capacity as a trade platform for environmental and green enterprises." |

Expanded Eco-friendly Vehicle Zone proved a major focal point |

|
The extended Eco-friendly Vehicle Zone was well-received and publicised by visitors and media. Wide range of eco-friendly vehicles were showcased including hybrid SUV, electric van, bike, electric bus, taxi, jeep and Segway. Exhibitors in this area were excited with the leads generated.
Volkswagen displayed for the first time in Hong Kong their Touareg Hybrid, Milano Taxi Concept and L1 Concept. Mr

Professional fringe events made the fair a leading arena for technology
exchange in eco industry |

Expansive range of fringe events was also organised alongside the Expo. The Eco Asia Conference 2010 was the largest and most comprehensive to date. It included the Eco-UK Seminar, the Eco-US Seminar, the Nordic Panel Discussion and the Sino-French Seminar on Sustainable Development and sessions on Green Transportation and Waste Management & Recycling. Other industry events including Round Table Meeting between Mainland Authorities and Corporations on Eco

| Projects, the Green Building Conference, "Low Carbon Activities in Hong Kong" Seminar and the Public Day Forum were also held concurrently, plus two networking luncheons between overseas exhibitors and officials from Chinese Mainland and C40 delegations. |
